Perfectly located at the heart of Andalucia's mountains and lakes.

Situated at the heart of Andalucia's most beautiful area of mountains and lakes and set in several thousand metres of private land, recently planted witn over 200 olive trees. From its dominating hill top position there are truly spectacular, panoramic views across the valley to the mountains in the west and over sun drenched roling hills to the south. The "white village" of El Valle de Abdalajis, rich in history and traditions, nestling at the foot of the high "sierras" is only five minutes drive from the villa and just over an hour from Malaga Airport.

Bedrooms: Green room;- south facing with views to the pool & garden. There is a double bed, fully tiled en-suite shower room with exposed beams throughout. Blue room;- with views to the north & to the village. There is a double bed & soild wooden rocking cot & fully tiled en-suite. The Tower bedroom, upstairs in the west tower, has a double 4 poster & fully tiled en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.With french windows opening on to a small balcony overlooking the village and the mountains. The Loft, family bedroom in the east tower has a double bed & two single beds, fully tiled en-suite shower room. There are views across the fields towards El Torcal & the village. The Eastend room, is light & airey with two single beds & views to the north & east with an adjacent fully tiled shower room.

Kitchen: The kitchen is beautifully tiled and wood beamed. There are views to the pool and a stable door opens to the covered terrace, perfect for outdoor dining. The equipment includes fridge/freezer, electric oven, microwave oven, four plate ceramic hob with touch controls, dishwasher, deep fryer, mixer, juicer, granite worktops, work island and plenty of cupboard space. The breakfast table seats six. The second kitchen "Summer Kitchen", is located between the house and the pool. This houses the BBQ and bar and a sink. Outside, there is a stone table with tiled top seating for 10.

Utility Room: In the utility room is a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and ironing facilities as well as a second drinks fridge, which is adjacent to the kitchen and also doubles as a larder.

Living Room: This 60 square metre living space is furnished with two sofas and two reclining armchairs. The 42" digital TV receives English freeview channels as well as dozens of radio programmes, and there is a Blu Ray DVD player. The log burning stove ensures your comfort during the winter evenings. The large pine dining table can be set for ten places and there is a similar table on the south terrace. Both areas feature exposed wooden beams and have views to the pool and beyond.

Outside

The private swimming pool is fully tiled & filtered, 11 x 5 metres, with underwater lighting. Pergola shade, surrounding the sun bathing terrace which houses 12 sun loungers with especially comfortable mettresses. Covered BBQ/bar in the garden.

Golf

There are now more than 60 Costa del Sol Golf Courses stretching from Sotogrande in the west to the lesser known Velez Malaga in the east and they all have one thing in common - the fantastic sunny and dry climate allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it will be a real luxury to play on a Costa del Sol winter's day. There are Costa del Sol golf courses to suit all levels of players and they are set in some beautiful surroundings, many with views of the sea and mountains. Antequera Golf must be one of the most beautiful inland courses in Andalucia and is less than half an hours drive formLa Majada Alta and Loma la Parra. Founded in 2003 and situated at the heart of El Torcal nature reserve, this 72 par course of 6,000 metres was designed by the Ryder Cup player Jose Maria Canizares and is overlooked by the most spectacular mountain views. The course has been built on various levels in order to reflect the original state of the surrounding land and consists of as many as 18 artificial lakes all connected with one another. The 6th, par 3 is defended by four bunkers and a lake. Be sure to under-club on this one. The 14th, a long par 5, has a slight dog-leg to the left . A magnificent hole for the driver, aim centre left in order to gain distance and clear the bunker. With the green sloping away from you it is best to approach with caution. Skiing

Our "local" ski resort is called Sol y Nieve (Sun and Snow) located at about 2000 meters altitude, in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Granada.

Travel

Malaga Airport:- Transfer time just over 1 hour. 50kms Other airports at Seville & Granada approx 2 hours.

Distances

Fuengirola & the coast is just one hours drive (50kms). Alora 20kms to the south is a lively small town similar in character to el Valle de Abdalajis with a flood-lit hilltop & castle.Antequera 20kms to the north is our nearest town, steeped in history & crammed with ancient buildings and monuments, including the ruins of a castle.Close to Antequera are the largest prhistoric burial chambers in Europe, signposted as the DOLMENES. El Chorro is quite spectacular and has many good bars and restaurants around this very popular area as well as picnic areas around the Ardales Lake.
